These delightful cookies shaped like reindeer are perfect for the holiday season. They are not only tasty but also a fun treat to make with kids!

Ingredients

  • 250 grams butter
  • 200 grams sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 700 grams flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 100 grams cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 200 grams powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 100 grams chocolate for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time.
  4. Combine the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
  5. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  6. Roll the dough into small balls and shape them into reindeer forms on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until lightly golden.
  8. Allow to cool completely.
  9. Decorate with melted chocolate and powdered sugar mixture.

Notes

  • For a different flavor, you can add a hint of cinnamon to the dough.
  • These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
