- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and diced
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine the flour, powdered sugar, and salt.
- Add the cold butter and mix until crumbly.
- Stir in the egg yolk and mix until dough forms.
- Press the dough into mini tartlet pans and bake for 15 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix maple syrup, brown sugar, cream, and vanilla.
- Stir in pecans and pour into baked crusts.
- Bake for an additional 20 minutes.
- Let cool before serving.
