Delicious homemade naan bread, perfect for pairing with Indian dishes.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt
  • 200 ml warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Ghee for brushing

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
  2. Add yogurt and warm water, then knead until smooth.
  3. Cover and let it rise for 1 hour.
  4. Divide the dough into balls and roll out each ball into a flat disc.
  5. Cook on a hot skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden.
  6. Brush with ghee before serving.

Notes

  • Serve warm with Indian curries.
  • Make sure the skillet is hot enough before cooking.
