- 300 grams all-purpose flour
- 200 grams butter
- 150 grams sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 200 grams dark chocolate
- 1 jar cherry jam
- 100 grams powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour and baking powder, then gradually add to the creamed mixture.
- Divide the dough into two parts, adding melted chocolate to one half.
- Spread the chocolate dough in a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Spoon dollops of the plain dough on top of the chocolate layer, and swirl gently.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes.
- Allow to cool, then spread a layer of cherry jam on top.
- Mix powdered sugar with water to create a glaze and drizzle over the top.
