- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 200 grams mushrooms
- 1 onion
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, eggs, and water to form a smooth dough.
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Use a Spätzle maker to drop small pieces of dough into the boiling water.
- Cook until they float to the surface, then remove and set aside.
- In a pan, melt butter and sauté chopped onions and mushrooms until soft.
- Add beef broth and cream, then stir in paprika and season with salt and pepper.
- Combine mushroom sauce with the Spätzle and serve hot.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use homemade beef broth.
- Garnish with fresh parsley for added freshness.
