- 250 grams semolina
- 500 grams quark
- 2 eggs
- 100 grams sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
- 50 grams breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
- In a bowl, mix the semolina, quark, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Let the mixture rest for 20 minutes.
- Form small dumplings from the mixture.
- Roll the dumplings in breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the dumplings until golden brown on all sides.
- Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with fruits or compote.
