A delicious recipe for buttery crescent rolls.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams all-purpose flour
  • 250 ml milk
  • 100 grams butter
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm milk with sugar and yeast, and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Combine flour and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg to the flour and mix until smooth.
  4. Knead the dough for 10 minutes and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  5. Roll out the dough and cut it into triangles.
  6. Roll each triangle from the wide end to the tip and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • For an extra touch, brush with melted butter after baking.
  • These can be served warm or at room temperature.
