- 4 ripe pears
- 200 g lebkuchen (gingerbread)
- 100 g walnuts, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 egg, beaten (for glazing)
- 1 pack of puff pastry
- 50 g sugar
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
- Peel and slice the pears, then mix them with chopped lebkuchen, walnuts, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and place the pear mixture in the center.
- Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges well.
- Brush the top with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
