A traditional British dish consisting of sausages served with mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 4 sausages
  • 2 pounds potatoes
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup onion gravy

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the potatoes, then boil them until tender.
  2. Cook the sausages in a skillet until browned and cooked through.
  3. Drain the potatoes and mash them with milk, butter, and mustard.
  4. Serve the sausages on a bed of mashed potatoes with onion gravy poured on top.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use cream instead of milk when mashing the potatoes.
  • Pair with steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
